THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS vs. HARRY POTTER

The awards are given based on who shows up not on who actually wins or deserves it. All of the winners know ahead of time, hence why the losers never show up to the award show. Now, Potter most likely is winning something tonight, but think about it, it makes more sense to give them one award and spread the love over multiple stars and fandoms. The more diverse the winners pool the more stars show up, the more people watch the show, the more the network can charge for ad and commercial time during the broadcast.
